Fovant Village Hall is a registered charity (no. 1058923), run by a management committee of local volunteers. We publish our policies and annual reports here so that everyone who uses the hall, from hirers and group organisers to volunteers and visitors, can see how the hall is run and what we expect of each other.
Our policies are reviewed every year and updated where necessary. Each one opens in your browser, where you can zoom in to read it, or you can download a copy to keep.
Our policies
Equality and Diversity Policy
Our commitment that nobody is treated less favourably because of who they are, and how we put that into practice in running the hall, in the services we offer the community and in who can join the committee.
Health and Safety Policy
How the committee keeps the hall and its equipment safe for everyone, by identifying, recording and managing risks, and the part we ask hirers, contractors and users to play, such as following safety instructions and reporting dangers.
Safeguarding Policy
How we protect children, young people and adults at risk who use the hall, how concerns are reported and dealt with, and contact details for Wiltshire’s safeguarding services.
Annual reports
Each spring the committee holds an Annual General Meeting, which everyone is welcome to attend, and reports back on the year at the hall.
AGM Minutes 2026
The minutes of our 2026 Annual General Meeting, including the Chair’s and Treasurer’s reports, thanks to retiring committee members, and the election of the committee for the year ahead.
Chair’s Report 2025–26
A look back at the year: the new flood defences and website, a busy programme of events from our first Beetle Drive to the Kings of Lounge, and new groups including Talk and Trowel and the revived drama group.
Income and Expenditure 2025–26
Where the hall’s money comes from and how it is spent, with the previous year (2024–25) alongside for comparison.
