Over the Platinum Jubilee weekend in June 2022, Fovant came together outside the village hall for a proper street tea party. Long tables stretched down the road, the bunting went up, and neighbours old and new sat down together for tea, cakes and a good catch-up in the sunshine.
A huge thank you to the volunteers who baked, brewed and served all afternoon – the tea tent never stopped. The celebrations also included a flag inauguration by Tony Phillips outside the hall.
It was a wonderful reminder of what the village hall is for: bringing the whole community together.
